About Kevin’s Designs

Kevin developed a line of ceramic products for FOLD as part of our Hamewares Commission in 2019. These pieces were inspired by Banchory’s social, environmental and industrial heritage, specifically looking at the recreational and environmental features of community life. 

Kevin's aim was to design and fabricate a collection comprising of a lidded vessel and cup that in part reference whisky and fishing culture in Deeside. The ceramic forms reference the Barns own logo with colour pathways inspired by the surrounding environment.
